Are these safe to wedge into clay?

Yes, these are safe to wedge into clay. Make sure to use proper precautions when mixing in. Mason stains such as this one pose the biggest safety risk in powder form. We recommend using a respirator or well fitting N-95 mask. Mix your mason stain with a bit of water in a well ventilated place or outdoors. Then wedge the mason paste into your clay body. At this point it is safe to use without a mask.
Can I use this for a cone 10 firing?
