Olympic 28" Top-Loading Electric Pottery Kiln

The 18" deep (tall) model is similar to a SPS 284, and has 4 elements.
The 27" deep (tall) models are similar to SPS 286 and have 6 elements.

Olympic Electric Kilns are cylindrical in shape, top-loading, with multiple widths and depths. This model is 28" in diameter, and is available either 18” or 27” deep.

These stackable electric kilns are equipped with a Bartlett KilnStar digital controller, providing automatic programming for cone fire methods or ramp-hold firings.  Also includes a pilot light, an 8" metal stand, stainless steel jacket, observation plugs, and instruction manuals. This model is built with 3" firebrick and comes equipped with a lid lift assist for easy opening and closing of the kiln lid. 

Olympic Kilns' stackable electric models are built with the Olympic-proven electrical box design, which has heat shields with top and bottom perforations to keep the electrical components cool. Balanced heating elements ensure even heating of the firing chamber under all firing conditions.

Additional options include upgrading to the Genesis touchscreen controller for more ramp-hold user programs and multiple other features, including delay start, preheat, cone offset, skip-step, and many more for precise firings every time. Messages and information are available for reviewing a firing profile before or during the firing, viewing the current segment the firing is in, and using a cone table for easy lookup of temperature and cone number equivalents.
